IKEA offers a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them. This is the idea at the heart of everything IKEA does, from product development and purchases to how we sell our products in IKEA stores globally.

Anybody can make a good-quality product for a high price, or a poor-quality product for a low price. The IKEA way of doing things is to pass these cost savings on to you, our customers.

Denver’s economy has not been as hard-hit as many other areas around the United States.  Even so, having a brand-new IKEA store which will employ many workers and offer a comprehensive selection of products, is a very exciting development for the Denver metro area.

The City and County of Denver is the Colorado state capital and the most populous city of the entire state.  Denver is a small town with many big-city amenities.  Having an IKEA store is another amenity which will be a big draw for residents of not only Denver, but the entire Western Slope area and across the Continental Divide.

Denver is rapidly growing and becoming more of a cosmopolitan city.  With that, IKEA will be a welcome addition and preferred shopping destination for folks throughout the Denver metro area.  Whether you’re looking for a space-saving economical kitchen make-over or the most fantastic dorm room or even wanting to have the ability to turn your studio apartment’s main living space into a fully functional home office – IKEA has got the ideas, staff, and product for your home style and storage needs.

If you’re an IKEA fan we’d love to hear about your experience. We’ve noticed there are mixed reactions; some IKEA shoppers didn’t enjoy the required ‘walk through’ the entire floor to exit while others enjoyed it – regardless the experience sets forth many temptations for picking up additional merchandise.

In addition, with IKEA averaging around $32.6 billion dollars a year in revenue, the anticipated jump in sales tax revenues could be a great push for the Denver area. It’s not clear yet how the increased tax dollars will be spent by the government.
